PULSE International was founded by two experienced nurses with a passion to empower and help others. Over the last ten years, Lisa Armour and Lauren Huber have spent a lot of their time travelling to and serving under-resourced countries. They have seen firsthand the real-life struggles of local people, who have limited access to the tools needed to thrive in their own health and the overall health of their communities.  PULSE aims to improve local healthcare for the communities it serves and establish a plan utilizing education and healthcare initiatives in order to meet the need.  The ultimate vision is to empower and build relationships with local hospitals, clinics and other NGOs in order to improve the accessibility to fundamental health care.
